Struggle for Gera, or "SFG", is an in-progress digital trading card game with five playable characters, each with their own unique abilities.

The player's objective is to reduce their opponent's health to zero, and there are two types of cards which help to accomplish that—monster and action cards. Monsters take their place on the battlefield, enact their abilities on the opponent, and attack as soon as the player wishes them to. Each monster has a power value; a combination of the conventional attack and health values. Actions, however, are anything from magical spells or complex battle tactics which supplement their efforts. To use a card, a player must expend either their monster tokens or their action tokens depending on what type of card they wish to use. Each player receives three monster tokens and action tokens at the beginning of their turns; these tokens function as a form of income to be spent rather than a replenishing resource.

Hundreds of years ago, the Snow Empire - then contained on a single island chain in the eastern sea - launched an invasion of the continent of Gera. Through superior technology of unknown origin, nation after nation fell before the might of the Snow Empire's army. Three hundred years after the invasion had begun, the Snow Empire had dominated the entire continent. However, ruling the large landmass and rapidly booming population was simply too large of a task for one undivided empire. Although the entire continent was still united under the banner of the Snow Empire, large swathes of land were placed under the rules of Lords appointed by the reigning king. Now nearly six hundred years after its original invasion of the continent and three hundred years after the position of Lord was established, the Snow Empire is balancing on the razor's edge. Technology is progressing at a rapid rate, but tens of millions are starving and living in economic squalor. In all of the Snow Empire's history, tensions between the four lords have never been higher. The people of Gera live in fear of attacks from roving gangs and arcane threats from the Dark Canopy—an enigmatic forest connected to a horrifying battle that was covered up by members of the royal court. Just as tensions are coming to a head, the Festival of Creation - Gera's most sacred holiday -—begins. As the current king, known as King Fyuri, addresses his subjects from the palace's balcony in preparation for the festivities, he is suddenly assassinated by an unknown mage, despite the powerful magical protection placed upon his palace. Almost simultaneously, thousands of ravenous beasts stream from the Dark Canopy and begin ravaging the western border of the Snow Empire. The King had no direct heirs, so chaos breaks out as each Lord, as well as the malevolent forces of the Dark Canopy, sees their chance to seize power. After hundreds of years of continuous rule, the struggle for Gera begins.
